Fix the one system holding you back

Systems Sprints · Business coaching for design and construction owners

Without committing to the full program. Sometimes the whole business does not need rebuilding. One part of it does, and a Systems Sprint builds that part properly in two to four weeks, with me alongside you while it gets implemented.

When one part of the business is the problem

You are excellent at the work and trapped by the business. Sometimes the whole business does not need rebuilding. One part of it does.

A Systems Sprint takes that part, a single component, and builds it properly. It takes two to four weeks, and I work alongside you while it gets implemented in your business.

It is one of my training programs. These build something specific into your business, a system, a skill or a way of operating, so that it is still there when the program ends.

What a Systems Sprint can build

A sprint takes one component at a time. The components I work on include:

  • Hiring and onboardingHow new people are chosen and brought into the business.
  • Sales processHow the business wins the work.
  • Job costingHow the business knows what a job costs and what it earns.
  • Project deliveryHow a job is run from start to finish.
  • Performance managementHow standards are held without you holding every one of them.

How a Systems Sprint works

  1. Book a consultation

Tell me which part of the business is holding you back. If a sprint is not the right fit, I will tell you so.

  2. One system, chosen

A sprint takes a single component, for example hiring and onboarding or job costing, and nothing else.

  3. Two to four weeks, with me alongside you

I build the system properly, and I stay alongside you while it gets implemented in your business.

Who it is for, and who it is not for

A Systems Sprint is for you if

  • Your assessment showed the business is solid across most areas, with one or two clear gaps
  • You are not yet at the size where the full program makes sense
  • You are a design and construction business owner who wants one system fixed without committing to the full program

A Systems Sprint is not for you if

Where a Systems Sprint fits

A sprint is one of several options. Which one is right depends on how much of the business needs work and how big the business is.

  • Business Health CheckThe entry point. A Report Card across the eight fundamentals and a Roadmap show where the gaps are, and whether you have one or two clear ones.
  • The Self-Sustaining Business ProgramThe big build. All eight components built across your business with your management team, in eight or sixteen weeks. It suits owners with five or more staff and, typically, five to ten years in business.
  • Master Plan ProgramThe ongoing option. I develop the Roadmap from your Health Check into your Master Plan and keep it moving between our conversations.
  • Group CoachingPlanned, not launched. There is no group to join yet, and no price or date.

What a Systems Sprint costs

A Systems Sprint is $4,000 to $5,000. That is for one system, built over two to four weeks, with me alongside you while it gets implemented. To find out where in that range your sprint would fall, book a consultation.

Questions owners ask

What is a Systems Sprint?

A Systems Sprint is a focused engagement of two to four weeks in which Eric Lee takes a single component of your business, such as hiring and onboarding, sales process, job costing, project delivery or performance management, and builds it properly. He works alongside you while it gets implemented.

How much does a Systems Sprint cost?

A Systems Sprint is $4,000 to $5,000. To find out where in that range your sprint would fall, book a consultation.

Who is a Systems Sprint for?

Owners whose assessment showed the business is solid across most areas with one or two clear gaps, and owners who are not yet at the size where the full program makes sense. The Self-Sustaining Business Program is built for owners with five or more staff and, typically, five to ten years in business. If a sprint is not the right fit for you, Eric will say so.

How is a Systems Sprint different from the Self-Sustaining Business Program?

A Systems Sprint builds one system in two to four weeks. The Self-Sustaining Business Program builds all eight components of the business, with Eric training each module and then working alongside you and your management team while you implement it. It runs for eight or sixteen weeks and costs $25,000, including your first quarterly planning session. If you are not at that size yet, a Systems Sprint is a better use of your money.

Is Group Coaching an option instead?

Group Coaching is planned as another option for owners who are not yet at program size, but it has not launched. There is no group to join today and no price or start date yet. If you need to fix a system now, a Systems Sprint is the option that exists today.

Not sure which system it is?

Start with the free Business Scorecard, or a Business Health Check if you want a proper read on all eight fundamentals. The aim is the same either way: a company that stands without you holding it up.
